TONG publish what are probably the most informative magazines about wine written by a wide selection of international specialists. It has recently been awarded Best Wine Magazine in the World 2011.

Tong have now published a 288 page book suitable for all wine enthusiasts simply called 'Wine', explaining all the basics about wine that you'll probably ever want to know. The book is designed for both the beginner who has just bought his first bottle and for the connoisseur looking for in-depth information. It's like a full wine course in a book.

You don't need to read from cover to cover, the book has been structured so that you can dip in and out to increase you knowledge. There are three authors of the book: Fiona Morrison who is a Master of Wine and owns Le Pin in Pomerol,; Romana Echensperger a former top sommelier and now a wine writer and consultant; Filip Verheyden the publisher of TONG. Echensperger and Verheyden are Master of Wine candidates.

You can read and follow our own free articles on the basics of wine as we post them on our Blog or email us for copies, but this book will provide you with far more comprehensive information in a beautiful hardbound book that you can easily refer to as and when you need.
